Aye. Neck and neck. I suspect either of these bands will kill New Pornographers in the final. This is the real battle for the soul of Canada being played out right here, right now... and it's too close to call.

I count 6-5 BSS at this point, I think. Maybe everyone should come to Halifax to see them live tonight, and re-think their Arcade Fire votes.

I love Funeral, but on listening to it again this morning, I have to conclude that - bless her little cottons - Regine really can't sing for toffee.

Can I just say it? I don't care for BSS. To be honest, I don't get the hype. There. I feel better now. And Stars is still better than both BSS AND Arcade Fire. You need to hurry up and move back to Northern Ontario luv. Clearly all that Toronto smog is starting to cloud your judgement and the constant city buzz is impairing your hearing. |
