1. Radiohead 4. Radiohead
6. Radiohead 7. Radiohead
Post 98 impact Sonic Youth, while good, canot compare to what Radiohead has put out. Weak that Tool didn't make it.

I think that's my real issue with this bracket, is it really only serves to allow people to vote for their favorites regardless of the strength of their post 1998 output, and in lieu of having to think too critically about 100% 2000 abd after newbies. I mean Tool and Radiohead are my favorite bands, but describing their impact 1998 and after as sparse is relatively fair. No slight on the game, or Patten's idea (still really enjoying this man). These players just sort of tilt the balance of the other three brackets a bit. U2 have already gotten way too far. THAT WAS NOT MENT POST 1998 in Veterans output but as a whole 1998 was just a year picked due to the fact if you did a 2000 ahead list of bands you omit MUSE(99) White Stripes(99) etc... Again your not voting on post 98 albums but the entire career as a Veteran band

Maybe I read it before and forgot, but are we voting for these bands based on their overall catalogues or are we voting on which is better TODAY in music? Patten?

Ah, so it's the vet bands' entire careers? That makes it easy then. I might even go for U2 (gasp) on that basis, even if they can't touch the brilliance of Definitely Maybe. And that means The Cure walk it over Wilco.
U2 Cure
PJ Radiohead
