Inspired by another thread of this evening, I've been digging through the vinyl Rileyvault, drinking beer and thought the whole experience seemed thread worthy.
Strategy Play tracks from 25% or less of Rileydog's vinyl collection (estimated at around 600 albums), working from A-Z.
Rules 1. Drink Sleaman's Honey Brown Lager (unofficial sponsor) until supply runs out. 2. Pull as many random albums as possible and listen to select tracks, in full or otherwise.

Select Track: "Chiquita" Comment: Best album of theirs no one ever talks about. Them at their sloppiest rawkinest. If they're going to keep making music, they really need to get5 back on the coke. It serves them well creatively.

Select Track: "Forever Young" Comment: I may not wear my wife's underwear, but listening to her album's is probably worse for my already shaky image.

Select Track: "I Wanna Learn" Comment: Initially excited because they're so competent and intersting, but way too hammered to find the attention span for this right now. Beer Count: 4

Select Track: "Can U Deliver" Comment: A band I loved that no one else latched onto the same way. There are obvious reasons, but this is good metal when the pageantry is factored in with suitable perspective.

Select Track: "T-Birds" Comment: Really a pretty weak effort, but Harry looks even hotter in animation on this cover than she ever did for real, and she had her moments in the flesh as well.

YEESSSSSS!!!The bastards are TOTALLY falling apart but hey, they slam out an odd Yardbirds cover and as you state, "Chiquita" has that stuttering guitar that's right outta the gutter to boot!

Select Track: "Come On Come On" Comment: The best live album ever? Probably. Few legendary bands were this lucky to catch themselves on tape as they were firing on absolutely all fucking cylinders.

Select Track: "Basically Taps" Comment: I used to listen to this so much. It doesn't hold up at all, even if Clarke's technique is unquestionable. I guess I won't be pulling any of my David Sanborn albums from the same era

Select Track: "Lil' Devil" Comment: Lots of crunch. The complete about face from Love is still effective in a head scratching sort of way. A bit spottier than I remember.
