alright fuckers it's 3:13am. i would say i've been drinking alone, except my 3 dogs are here and so long as some of y'all are up, i'm only a marginal loser.
i have one beer left which puts beer count at 11, but we're not counting so who cares.
I have like 20+ albums left that I have touched in some capacity tonight, so fuck it, let's give this another whirl.

Select Track: tie - "It's A Plain Shame"/ "All I Want To Be (Is By Your Side)" Comment: Good songs. Funny that the live album broke him and stuff like this got virtually ignored first time around. I was 1 when this came out. I loved it even then.

Select Track: "Trouble Walking" Comment: One of my all time favorite pop culture icons. Unfortunately this doesn't hold up at all. He covers ELO better than the original ("Do Ya"), but Spaceman checked out in like 1977.

Select Track: "Abacab" Comment: The last truly decent Genesis album. Also the last 7minute plsu song they recorded (that I'm aware of anyway) that hit radio. Unfortunately also the point when the Earth Wind & Fire horns stopped by beforfe they became too frequent and the last album before Collins showed signs of becoming a Disney whore.

Select Track: "Skidmarks Of My Heart" Comment: I can't seem to get into Sleater-Kinney, but I'll be damned if you can't hear them in some of this. This is a cute and sexy album. I remember seeing them on American Bandstand and thinking they rocked. There is nothing wrong with this at all.

Select Track: "Rebel Yell" Comment: I grabbed this album specifically for this track and it didn't disappoint. Unfortunately the res5t of the album is crap. Steve Stevens got way too much cred for yanking on a whammy bar a lot.

Select Track: "I Send A Message" Comment: This is Inxs. Whatever they're doing right now, in 2006, is not.

Select Track: "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" Comment: Somewhere In Time was embarassing. This helped. The instrumental run mid song in that track is unbelievable. Still not back to form per se, but the best one could hope for .

Select Track: "Tom Sawyer" by Rush Comment: This is fucking awful. I used to walk around the schoolyard in grade 4 playing this cassette at top volume. No wonder it took me until grade 5 to start having sex with chicks.

Select Track: "Love Bites" Comment: There are lots of types or strains of metal, but some bands are just "heavy metal". Judas Priest are the best heavy metal group.

Select Track: "Come Dancing" (i guess???) Comment: I think I've owned this album since it came out in 1983, but I'll be fuckedv if i've ever played it. I still haven't played it, but Dolly and Paul Cook are so fucking horny on The Kinks right now I felt compelled to add it in.
