I declared (half-seriously, half-jokingly) in another thread that I have awesome taste in music. If someone had called me on my arrogance, I would've rebutted: "yeah, well I bet that 90% of the people here secretly (or openly) think the same way." I wanted supporting evidence of that, and thus I started this poll.

It's not so much that I have awesome taste in music (I do), but that I'm just a really fucking awesome person in general. Sometimes I even wear sunglasses indoors.

Some of the rest of you really need to get your ears examined, though. I mean, the fucking Doors? C'mon!  BTW, other than that drug induced Lizard King thing, Bowiglou also has awesome taste in music. |

I voted yes for myself...I may be a bit set in my ways w/ my music, but the bands/artist I listen to are legends, and are some of the most important figures to ever grace pop culture...
Many of the bands I listen to, many of you do to....Really, and although I don't necessarily like everything everyone here listens to, I'd say we all have pretty damn good taste! At least we're passionate about who we like, and that goes a long way in my book.
When you like bands like: The Beatles, Kinks, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, the Who, the Velvet Underground, Bruce, Bob, Bowie, the Clash, Television, Pixies, Fugazi, Radiohead, Sonic Youth, Hank Sr., Johnny Cash, Beastie Boys, and the Rolling Stones, it's pretty hard to say you have bad taste...
Oh, and Mr. Holzman, the Doors kick ass! ;D
