Maybe the funnest thing about trying to be a punk is coming up with the appropriate punk rock name. I toyed with several different names:
Daryl Lick (or Daryl Ick)
Bob Gnarley
George Moshington
...and I gave my girlfriend back then the name Suey Side (or Sioux E-side)
Anyway what's yours?

My punk rock name is Ken Holzman. Hey! That was mine too! Seriously ... my roommate was "Punker Bob" or "Bobnoxious" ... but I was always just Ken Holzman. Punker Bob grew up to be a Republican banker fuck, but Ken Holzman has always just been a punk. I talked to my old high school g/f a while back. She told me that whenever the subject of proms comes up, she says that she went with "some punk with a mohawk." I love that, to a bunch of Canadians I'm "some punk." Ever have a day where you feel pretty good for no real reason? That's today for me, or so it seems ... |
