heh, no! guess it'd be a no-go on that version......
how about something from that Langley School project? That one where they taped a school chorus in the 70's singing tunes like "Band On The Run" and "S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y N-I-G-H-T" ....I could put that up next to some Slayer or something.......

I'm not really familiar with what kind of music Fuzznuts likes, but it's not as I have enough live material to customize my mix to fit anyone's taste so it really doesn't matter I guess. Prepare to be tormented by words that will sound gibberish to you, Fuzznuts (though I'll probably throw in an instrumental or two in there, to ease things up a bit). I don't like music, I just come here to talk about what's going on on American Idol. Actually, here's my Last.fm page, you should be able to get some idea of my taste from there. But I'm pretty open to anything, and the whole point of this thing is new exposure, right? Also, that Natsumen disc sounds mighty intriguing, if you feel like sending a copy my way.

Hey Ryo, since you realize that you'll probably be getting this disc some time next spring, I'm gonna give you a bonus. In addition to the compilition of killer live material I've got, I'll include the complete Elvis Costello and the Attractions, Live at the El Mocambo. I think I can also fit some of his '86 live material post-King of America on there as well. So at least it should be worth your wait. And Luke, keep your eyes peeled on your mailbox ... seriously, I'm giving it to my runner to mail out this afternoon. Is there anyone else I owe discs too? JAC hasn't waited long enough for his Miles set ... that should be ready by Thanksgiving or so ...

Now if Luke wants a disc of the latest Latino sensations, I'll have her hook him up.

Mantis, your new avatar is awesome. Reminds me that I need to watch Super Troopers again soon.
Who wants a mustache ride? I do, I do!
Damn, I love that movie.

I'm sorry, this board is for people who are participating in the mix CD swap. ;D Oh sure... complain about the lack of estrogen in the CD swap and then alienate the one girl who's posted here and expressed an interest in joining in at some point. And to think that I was about to compliment you on, erm... something as well. Hmph!

Also, that Natsumen disc sounds mighty intriguing, if you feel like sending a copy my way. Well I was actually gonna include a Natsumen song in the mix CD (the album RocDoc and I have been enthusing about is actually a live album - although they're new songs), but sure, I see no reason to not to send you the entire album. You liked the Blankey Jet City clip I posted on the YouTube thread, right? They will definitely be on the disc as well. In the meantime, do you want to PM me your address? And Ken, that's awesome that you'll send me an entire CD of the Attractions. Really, really looking forward to it. Just drop me a note when you send it, so that I'll know to look in my mailbox.

Ryo - do you have many live albums from Western bands? I love live albums, and so I've got a ton of the damn things. So I don't want to give you gems from obvious choices (i.e. anything from Live at Leeds or From Here to Eternity) if you've already got 'em. I'd rather use the space to give you something from Warren Zevon or Bowie that you don't already have. So if you wanna either post a few of the live discs you've got, or send me a PM with 'em, that would be very cool.

Not to mention every single live "Doors" recordings including many hard-to-find bootlegs with Jim Morrison poetry recitals !
