... I wholeheart SUNN 0))), now. Just saw em perform a wicked eerie, monolithic noize conjuration w/Attila on vocal disharmonizing & corruption, and Malefic off to the side injecting sonic bile into the proceedings. I kept waiting for the building to crumble down around us, but the architecture held. That was a good thing, as immediately thereafter Celtic Frost took to the stage to deliver a solid set comprised of their old thrashy best stuff + the new cold pure dark heavy shit. A crushing night of mayhem + metal that will reverberate in my ears for years to come

think you can make it to denver while you're at it? albuquerque is a longish drive for me. you could play 2101's back room, they are always down for new experimental noise gigs. i know the owner. or you could play monkey mania, a funky warehouse collective place.

thanx for the link, skvor. Bloodhammer & Katharsis are the only ones I'd heard of on that list. I was hoping he'd mention the new Frost ~ !

Oooo...samples, I would be down for playing some shit like that in Denver. I actually may be there sometime next year on tour as one of my friends in Albuquerque that my band is playing will be making our debut as "The Moustaches of Death". It's very USA is a Monster kind of stuff.

Saw some interesting people (Blackcell, Page 27, Syphilis Sauna, and Rasmussen, but I left before Pentalith, I was tired..) play with noise at a warehouse Saturday night, then some of them again on Sunday at 2101 downtown. I'll say it again, music always feels better in a warehouse. Noise was meant to be blasted in that atmosphere. It was good to get out and feel that again.

You gotta do your best to support local underground scenes or they die. I didn't even feel like going the show on Sunday, but a couple artists were in from Seattle and they needed to be given a reason to come back to Denver.

I'm back from being out on the road. Added a couple of shows and we decided to stay because everyone really dug us. We will be booking a full tour next year hopefully and Denver is on the list already. Woohoo!!!!
