Talking Heads Joy Division Big Star Cheap Trick Rush David Bowie Television Roxy Music XTC Queen Peter Gabriel Squeeze ...are just a handful of artists that come to mind who either started or participated in the 70's and are independently better than the collective efforts of Zep and Floyd. To sum that decade up with those two artists is fucking embarassing. Try this thread again please. This one needs to be deleted. See this is where Chrisfan was particularly useful. Jesus. The first four Kiss albums are more interesting to listen to today than the entire catalogues of Zep and Floyd. Amen. And the Clash, Springsteen, Bob Marley, hell even Paul Simon ... all better than Led fucking Zep or Pink-mother-fucking-Floyd. |
