I think Nelson should always be an option -- sort of like "none of the above" or something. The next poll I create, I'll be sure to include "Nelson" as one of the choices.

I voted for The Bends because some of the harmonies are completely influenced by Nelson.

Can't believe Kid A beat The Bends. I very cool with it. I like it better. But I never woulda thought.

I think the people who prefer The Bends over Kid A (myself included) might have been inclined to pick OK Computer as their favorite album. If this had been a deal where everyone lists the Radiohead albums in order and give points accordingly, The Bends might have won out.
Since Nelson is inexplicably missing from the options, I might as well throw another vote in for OK Computer.

Kid A shouldn't be beating Hail to the Thief.
So I voted H to the thief. It's almost on par with OK.

The only Radiohead album I don't at least somewhat like is HTTT, which I find unlistenable.
Anyway, Kid A gets the slight nod over The Bends.
