I'm a little surprised not even one other person agrees about Exile...

I'm a big fan of "Exile..." but the one that I really dig is "Let it Bleed". It just hits me everytime I hear it. It's the record I play while I'm getting ready to hit the bars. Gets me in the mood to be moody, aloof, excited, crazy, whatever.......it's just a great album that I never get tired of.

I don't care for the Stones. Of their most popular singles, I think I'm particularly fond of... one of them.

I voted for Sticky Fingers.
Don't know if it's their best, but it's the one I listen to the most.
My top 5: 1. Sticky 2. Let It Bleed 3. Beggars 4. Exile 5. Between The Buttons
Aftermath and Satanic are pretty good too.

Satanic Majesties is just a dreadful, bad album. 2000 Light Years From Home is the only good song on it...seriously, when Kiss does a better version covering one of the songs it's a sign.

I voted for Some Girls b/c it's the one that, you know, I like the best.
That said, I don't currently own any complete Stones albums, just the first two discs of the Decca Singles box and a bunch of mp3s. So if anyone would like to hook me up with Beggar's Banquet, Some Girls, Let It Bleed, or Exile on Main Street (or whatever your favorite Stones album is), I'd be happy to reciprocate via YouSendIt.

Satanic has some really f-ing cool songs: The Citadel, 2000 Light Years, She's a Rainbow, and 2000 Man are all really good Stones' songs IMHO. Sure it's an uneven album, but to say its a dreadful and bad album I think is a bit off. I'd give it a C+, 3 stars, One Thump Up, etc...

I have to admit that I always thought that "Satanic Majesty's" was a highly underrated album. In fact, I think I even remember JAC posting about it on the old boards as having an understated genius to it, which made me revisit it. I think it's a great album.

I always wanted to buy Satanic just from hearing it on one fatefull night and remembering it wasn't as bad as it was painted to be.....had a bewitching twist to its sound.
(my vote went to Sticky Fingers...just flowed best for me + "Moonlight Mile",,,,ahhhhhhhh.........)
