Rocky, you won't retaliate by saying that Mayumi Kojima is an ugly bitch or anything, will you? I'm sorry for that comment on the White Stripes. I'm sure they don't blow. And I like VU too, it's just that Between the Buttons is a pet fave of mine. So please leave my Mayumi alone. Please.

Paul, these are singles. We're talking albums...though I'm quit interested in your singles from every year, maybe we should start another thread for it.

Also, between 1966 and 2006, everytime that Pet Sounds was reprinted, it was the best album out that year.

Is this supposed to be from the year you were born on? no, just whenever you feel like starting.... I'm primarily a rock n' roll kinda guy, but thought I should give some props to jazz and therefore Miles Davis....I was thinking I wanted some jazz and country, and blues since that's the foundation of rock. Speaking of, I have no blues albums in that list...I need to add a few.

I started it 1956 because that made my list a nice fifty years and was primarily a rock list. 1955 would've been Bill Halley & His Comets - Shake, Rattle & Roll and because it's primarily a rock list I wouldn't have done any earlier years.
