Public Enemy was the better group, but my heart with always be more into N.W.A.
I could never really stomach a rap song from the east coast until I was about 18, and even then, none of it ever really stuck to me sentimentally.

Although it's not part of this poll, I am becoming increasingly convinced that Straight Outta Compton may well be the greatest rap song of all time. Or at least, the ultimate rap anthem. It's really embarrassing how much I listen to that song.
This poll is harder for me though. Both these songs are comparably excellent. I have to think about this one.

911 Is A Joke kicks ass and is better then Fuck The Police...Straight Outta Compton is a different story though. Still PE>NWA.

I was torn on this vote, but I must say I'm convinced by ded's impeccable logic here. As much as I adore Straight Outta Compton, this ain't about that song, and 911 is a Joke really IS better than Fuck Tha Police. Thank you ded. Cheers, M

Enrique Iglesias is known the world over. That don't make him better than the others.

*koff*/ *copies & pastes: Which anti-police rap song rules the world?"* I believe that was the specification for this poll.

When someone creates a poll which asks "Which anti-police rap song is better?", gimme a call.

Fuck N.W.A. I've gotta vote where my mouth is on this one, and Public Enemy is by far the biggest rap act that I can say I actually like much of what I've heard. Since I've got "911 is a Joke" in iTunes and don't have any N.W.A. ...
But "Bring the Noise" is better than either of these, whether it's PE or PE and Anthrax.

The poll is "Which anti-police rap song rules the world?" Holzman, not "Which rap song do you have on your iTunes" or "Which rap act can you say you actually like much", get w/the program guys

Holzman, not " Which rap song do you have on your iTunes" or " Which rap act can you say you actually like much", get w/the program guys Oh yeah, well fuck tha poll-police, too, then! I'll always take PE when it comes to rap. Much respect for Chuck D, who I think was really a visionary about seeing how rap could make a multimedia statement and using it to good effect. And mainly, I just can't resist voting whether I'm really informed or not ... on-line polls, elections, hell, I'm surprised I don't vote for American Idol although I hate the show.

Fuck the Police is better than 911 Is A Joke. 99% of the PE catalog is better than anything NWA put out (exception being of course, Straight Outta Compton).
