Sorry, went a little overboard with the jokey ones at the end.

Way overboard and incorrect. 6 is on drums, dude.

I think we've already wasted the legitimacy of this poll with the two votes thus far.

'Twas a valiant effort, though. And hmm...I am a little disheartened that you know any member of Creed other than Scott Stapp and that other guy who used to be on GuitarWorld all the time.

Shit Rocky! Think you could have come up with a few more options on this one?
I'm gonna have to give this some thought ... my gut says to just check the box next to Topper's name, but there are a bunch of folks here who merit consideration (including Meg and Mo -- very cool to see two women included in this list!) ... the Mighty Max Weinberg, Moonie, damn! And Animal ... I loved Animal when I was in Jr. High. Had an Animal folder and everything.
That dude just fuckin' rocked. Unlike Otto, Mitchell, or that dude from the Fragtones. ;D

Way overboard and incorrect. 6 is on drums, dude. No, we made a line-up change. That's what happens when you miss practice. Slacker. 'Twas a valiant effort, though. And hmm...I am a little disheartened that you know any member of Creed other than Scott Stapp and that other guy who used to be on GuitarWorld all the time. He cleans the bathrooms here at work, so I've gotten to know him a bit. Nice guy.

Animal. He also gets bonus points for being the biggest cooze-hound up there.

It's has got to be him ... hum ... IT ! He embodies all those other drummers you listed ... Hell yeah! Just look at that wild hair, the heroin-chic physique ... the fact that he has to be chained in place while playing! How many other drummers have to literally be held down to keep 'em from destroying their kit, the stage set, the audience ... I love Animal.

Part of being the best at something is fitting your skills into the proper context. Meg's not technically impressive, but she plays exactly the right amount for the White Stripes. Any more would be too much. She's perfect, which means that she's among the greatest drummers in rock. It's all about making the songs better, which is why Ringo and Mo are better than Mitchell or Bonham.
