Another thing about wankery is, a lot of people would just as easily accuse, maybe not so much punk, but certainly a lot of post punk as wankery. People who are too quick to cry wankery, to me, smack of reverse elitism.

Okay, there it is. The greatest drummer of all time is Animal, followed by John Bonham and Neil Peart (sigh).
Pulling up the rear, such heavyweights as John Otto, Mitch Mitchell, Scott Phillips, and Travis Barker.

I never voted? Why didn't I vote? I think I'll vote for Mitchell Mitchell, so nice they named him twice, for making it okay to be a sloppy sticksman who over plays.

Peter's drum solo on "100,000 Years" from Kiss Alive isn't all that great a drum solo as it turns out, but when I was 5 I thought he was the greatest drummer ever.
5 year old Riley would vote for Peter Criss.
