New Radicals just released on album. www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dllActually doing research before spouting off with opinions can yield impressive results. No, I think he means that that one album was the only good album they did, not that it was the only album that was released. I personally didn't care for what little I heard of New Radicals, but then again it was just a little.

I personally didn't care for what little I heard of New Radicals, but then again it was just a little. Yeah, PEW said that he wanted bands who made one great album alongside a bunch of shitty ones. New Radicals don't fit that profile: they made one excellent album (or not) and that was it. No shitty or even mediocre follow-ups. Just one record as their testament. I'm not a big New Radicals fan, but I admire the purity of making one album and then having the balls to say "that's it, we're done." That's what the Sex Pistols should've done. Anything other than Bollocks is pointless product.

Well, actually Il consider a band/artist that makes one great album then packs it in to still be a one-album wonder...even though I didnt phrase it that way in the original post...I have one or two of those types of bands on my list--New Radicals arent on the list yet because I'm nt convinced that they fit the description of being a 'wonder'... I think Kakkoii Kintama were a one album wonder. A Japanese band? There's only like three or four Japanese bands I'm familiar with and one of them is Loudness. The other one was that girl group Yumi something or other. Then ofcourse Fushitsusha and Boris...and I guess Yoko Ono...and that pretty much sums up my knowledge of Japanese music...

Dude, your typo messed me up. I thought you meant to say "New Radicals just released an album." You intentionally did that to trip me up, didn't you? You're so evil.

No. I'll save you from one of my noted Anti-Sex Pistols Tirades (patent pending) b/c you're a sexy man, Kenny H.
All I will say is: no. 'Bollocks' itself was the pointless product. Upon being in the same room together for the first time was when someone should've stepped in & made that call. People were afraid to make good judgment calls in the 1970s & we are still paying the price for it.

Oh god, Second Coming was a piece of crap. A lot of people agree with that, with the qualifier: "except for 'Ten Storey Love Song'" but that's the worst song on the album.

Fine then, I like Second Coming too. Because being liked by ded is more important to me than the Stone Roses.

I'm a Stone Roses fan. I forbid anyone to besmirch their good name. MBV & MSP shouldn't be on the same list as Terrence Trent D'Arby.
I can't believe I've even typed out his stupid name.

I'd prefer it if DED didn't like me. If renouncing my fondness for the Stone Roses is the way to achieve this, then so be it.
