It's been said by me before and shit, I'll say it again, I cannot fucking STAND Bellamy's affectation of imitating a frickin' jet engine roar when he loudly inhales for some sort of supposed theatrical effect....I actually DO have copies of the rest of their catalogue, but Showbiz was so repellent that I haven't even put the others on.

AbsOlushaun!!!! I can't comprehend, understand, just can't get how people don't see the brilliance of that album. The best frickin' album of the decade, bar none. Only thing that comes close to it is Kid A. There, I said it.

The Bends is the best Muse album.

RocDoc and Ken, cheers to your posts! Absolutely agree with both of those! Bellamy's sucking in air thing just shits me up a wall and completely ruins the dynamics of any muse song - its like looking at a car with a smashed bumper - it could be good but there's that one little thing that wrecks it completely...
And they really need to evolve beyond their Bends - era Radiohead sound.... Radiohead already did that, and did it better...

Dolly sent me a bunch of Muse albums a few months ago....still taking them all in but so far I like 'Origin of Symmetry' best. I'm not voting yet, b/c I still haven't really broken them down properly yet.

LMAO! I had no idea that Kenny had said this earlier here. I posted my (almost identical) comment today w/o having read the rest of this board. Great minds think alike, eh?

I know when I hear The Small Print or Butterflies and Hurricanes, the first thing that comes to my mind is Black Star and Fake Plastic Trees, respectively.
