The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds is a rip-off of Zeppelin's 3rd album.

Wham!'s second album had a few Zep moments too. "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" totally rips off "Whole Lotta Love".

One of those so-obvious-it's-a-waste-of-time-to-bring-it-up bands is the Smiths. Swear to crap the first time I heard them I thought there'd been reunion.

I know of one, for sure. Paris. Fuckin total Zep copycat ripoffs. I think that was their name. . . it had that guy that my Dad used to listen to . . . the dude w /the shades, on a green park bench w/some hot model (was the cover of his album) .. . anyhow he's in Paris. I thought they sucked. Paris? The trio Bob Welch (ex-Fleetwood Mac, "Ebony Eyes" solo hit dude...) led back in the 70's.... that Paris??? Kingdom Come was the first to come to my mind,,,,,Wolfmother not too far behind...

Two classic tunes, but the rest of the album reeks. BTW, What's the consensus on Wolfmother? I've heard the name pop up alot and I think I downloaded a tune or two of theirs, but I thought they were basically unremarkable...

Man, I can't believe no one has mentioned Nelson yet, though I guess they're more Deep Purple than Led Zeppelin. And good call on the Smiths, ded.
