Yeah, it's true. A few years ago Ritual de lo Habitual would be listed in my top 5 albums ever but due to God's conviction I stopped listening to them. Other bands I used to listen to alot but no longer listen to: Black Sabbath, RATM and Tool(some). Anyway, despite the blasphemous lyrics in it I can still admit that "Three Days" is perhaps the best written rock song ever. All three albums are between 4 and 5 stars to me. I would just be interested to hear what you guys think of 'em. Yeah, that 4th option up there, although completely true, was put there for comedic purposes.

I think they ruled sometimes, but other times were just okay. I'm not sure which choice to pick.

If they ruled sometimes and sucked sometimes, I would vote "ok." If they ruled sometimes, and were ok at other times, I think you should go with ruled. That's just me though.

Do you mind if I ask you what you believe their finest moment to be?
*kewl, just thought of a new thread*

Alright, I voted for "ruled" then.
My favorite is "Summertime Rolls".

I picked "ok"...even though there's only three or four songs I actually like.

I think they rule just on the basis of their first 2 albums alone.

They fuckin' ruled, they burned a legacy in rock'n'roll nearly as bright as zeppelin's only in such a drastically shorter time, w/fewer albums. Their live shows were explosive warzones, Jane's Addiction deserves to be heralded as THE best rock band of the 80's and their memory will never be effaced from rock music, period.

Me neither. Sonic Youth is a lot better than Jane's.

But I am not gonna get into that. More power to Jane's Addiction.

Sonic Youth was better in the '80s. So were the Pixies, Mission of Burma, the Minutemen, a few others. But Jane's were great at times.

Me neither. Sonic Youth is a lot better than Jane's. i agree, but i like their addiction alright... and there are a few nostalgic tunes that remind me of an old friend, atsushi.
