I like Jane's Addiction, too. I think they were a good band. But to say that Jane's was the best band of the 80's underrates a lot of good eighties music. I agree. Who would make such a ridiculous over generalization, kMc? Certainly not me: Oh - also - - Jane's Addiction kicks SONIC YOUTH'S mangy, amplified fed-back wall-of-noodlin' ASS, right into the dirt ! This, of course, is only viable in terms of ROCK. And I do mean " ROCK" And based on THAT criteria alone. . . . JANE'S ADDICTION are truly one of the ALL TIME GREATEST ROCK BANDS THAT EVER LIVED.

For overall musical contribution to the world,
SONIC YOUTH put JANE'S ADDICTION right into the dirt !

Erm, thorny ole pal, I think he was referring to what I said rather than you. I still think that JA is better than Sonic Youth even though they didn't have near as many albums.

See, I've gone and figure'd (most of) y'all out: Ya just ain't true blue rebel rockers. Guilty as charged. P.S. I can't stand Jane's Addiction.
