This will be a tough'n for some of us. When we compiled a list of favorite artists, David Bowie came in 2nd right behind the Beatles, beating Bob Dylan by very few points. I did leave the "Can't choose" option up there since it might be really difficult for some to pick, but I would ask that everyone try to pick from the 2, if possible. For me, it's no contest. Bob Dylan all the way. But that isn't really fair since what I've heard from Bowie is so very limited. Ken is supposed to be sending me a mix of a buncha Bowie I haven't heard sometime soon.
Oh well, I'm pulling for BD here, but since Bowie beat him in our "Greatest. Recording. Artists. Ever" list, it might be close.

Shit, this is actually really hard. I'm kind of out of Dylan right now, and Bowie still sounds fucking incredible. Musically, I think that the Thin White Ziggy takes the prize easily over His Bobness, but lyrically Dylan is tough to match, let alone top. Right now, I'm really inclined to go ahead and give it to Bowie. Unlike Dylan, Bowie has musically experimented throughout his career, and he's never gone more than a few albums between (at least) listenable releases.
Also, I thought Bob's last album sucked, whereas I've really liked everything that Bowie has done for more than the last decade now.

That was addressed to the Rockster Gunnar. As in Nelson. Every poll has to have a "Nelson" option. Remember? ;D

As of now, I'll vote Dylan since I've followed his work longer and closely than Bowie's. No offense to Bowie.
