I did this before with only 8 choices. So this poll gives a few more choices. I left off "Contact" this time since it didn't get any votes last time. I gotta go with "Every Little Thing...." It's just too, um, magical for me to vote for anything else. But "Bring On the Night" and "Invisible Sun" and "So Lonely" come close.

Oh yeah, and Holzman, don't gimme nuna yer shit about Nelson. Everyone should dig at least one of these songs or they shouldn't be here. What I mean by that is they shoudn't have ever been born.

Synchronicity II. It would've been "King Of Pain" had it been a choice, but SII comes very close. The options here kinda suck though. No "Every Breath You Take"? Just because Diddy killed it doesn't make it any less of a song. It's definitely better than half the options here. "Every Little Thing..." annoys the fuck out of me. It reminds me of women's gymnastics. "De Do Do Do" is just crap.

You still left off Truth Hits Everybody...of the choices given I voted for So Lonely, with Driven To Tears coming in second.

Police have a lot of good tunes, but to be honest if it wasnt for a girlfriend I had in the 80s who was really into them, I probablly wouldnt have ever given them much of a listen. "Truth Hits Everybody" is probablly my favorite off their first album, along with "So Lonely"..."Man with a Suitcase" and "Canary in a Coalmine" are two of my other favorites, along with "Spirits in the Material world"...

Synchronicity II is awesome. It would have had my vote hands down.
"Invisible Sun" gets my vote. GHOST IN THE MACHINE is my favorite Police album. But I like the rest as well. "Does Everyone Stare" may seem trite (and it actually is now that I think about it) but when I was alot younger I thought it was dark and terrible. This dude trying to make a all....changes his clothes alot...

I chose "Wrapped Around Your Finger". I remember hearing that for the first time and how much it creeped me out. In fact, I think that's why I love the Police: Sting seems just a little creepy.

Yeah, I shoulda left it off there and put "Every Breath You Take." I really thought about including that one. Don't know why I didn't, but it wasn't because of P Diddy.

WTF is Every Breath You Take? There's a reason why it's a fucking classic, man! King of Pain should've been in this, too. And Don't Stand So Close to Me.
Um, of the rest of these, Message in a Bottle is probably the best song, but I'm kind of burned out on it. I'll probably wind up voting for it, So Lonely, or Bring on the Night.
I'm sick to death of Roxanne, BTW.

No brainer for me. Synchronicity II is the closest they ever came to rock and roll. It kicks ass. There's just something about most of their melodies that just rubs me the wrong way. REM is like that with me, too.

I'm sick to death of Roxanne, BTW. Me too. Actually, I think I've been sick of it for about 20 years now.
