This is hilarious, but I actually met the bassist and lead singer for Candlebox at a party in Columbus, MS where Blind Melon showed up (what was left of them after Shannon died). Candlebox's singer sang "Galaxie" with Blind Melon. When he was finished he screamed out, "WHOA! I JUST SANG WITH BLIND MELON!!!!!" Then the guys immediately put down their instruments. I'll have to admit though: the guy was hitting the high notes better than Shannon ever did.
