yeah, I get all this quirky shit thrown my way, by life that is. One I really wanted to list, was Insect Warfare's "World Extermination" . . . and that would've opened up a whole vault of killer exteme underground metal, so I kinda left it off.

yeah, I agree, yet still I'm 'stuck' on the more 'conventional' listings..

Yes, that would be excellent.
Mine would be the typical Sunn0)))/Ulver weirdo metal kind of thing. I always love when you post about metal bands because I usually discover a new band when you do so. That would be excellent.

Although the Shin's "Wincing The Night Away" should be included on my honorable mentions list. Dit'n know you dug the Shins, thorny. Yeah, that's my album of 07 for sure. I think I've said that before on this thread. Oh well. But I didn't listen to nearly as much from this year as you guys have. I think that's the Shins best album even though my 3 or 4 favorite Shins songs are on their first 2 albums. I never skip a track until I get toward the end of it. In Rainbows was excellent too. I have a few tracks from Neon Bible and it's pretty good too. But those 3, Dino Jr's Beyond and the Plant & Krauss album is all I've heard from 07. I just have so much older music on my plate right now, that most of you guys have already heard. Album of the decade, though, is Muse's Absolution. |

That Plant and Krauss collaboration is amazing. It's too bad for Krauss too! I feel like it's being overshadowed by Plant and Co resurrecting Zeppelin.
I just heard a rumor that Grohl was going to play drums for Zep instead of Bonham. I hope it's not true as that totally pisses me off. Keep Bonham, the dude fits better.
