Since Skvor is using Stylus over on the drum board, and since this board quickly turned into Cure vs. Smiths, fuck it, why not: Cure vs. Depeche Mode Depeche Mode wins in their analysis. It's one of the more fun features on Stylus, really, and you're not supposed to take their purposely subjective categories to heart. They did a nice job on the breakdown here, though.

Dude, that article is funny. I did notice one thing they talked about that I totally agree with: Man, there has been some badly covered Cure songs whereas the Depeche Mode songs artists have covered came out pretty cool. That 311 version of "Lovesong" makes me angry evertime I hear it at the grocery store. Of course it should tell you something that they are playing it at a grocery store.
Both have really influential to some really bad bands.
Pretty awesome run down.

Cool, though the same guy rates Scrubs over House (and over Grey's Anatomy, but that's fair enough), so is clearly clinically insane.
