Here's a link to Britney Spears newest video "Break The Ice." It's animated and pretty horrible. The worst out of the three video's from her lackluster album "Blackout." I really only like two songs from the album: "Piece Of Me" and "Heaven On Earth." The two passwords (in order) are danger and victory. Enjoy. www.blackoutball.com/vidlaunch/index.php

Pat... this is the Madonna board. Jeesh!
The video blows. I saw it yesterday.
If you didn't check out the Currently listening to board... I have a friend in radio and I scored an advance copy of Madonna's new single with JT. Yeah, I rule!

It's quite amazing, and I honestly have to say that I'm jealous of myself.
Madonna, Madonna.
(Timbaland:) I'm outta time and all I got is 4 minutes (repeat several times) Break down
(Madonna:) Come on boy I've been waiting for somebody To pick up my stroll
(Justin:) Well don't waste time Give me a sign Tell me how you wanna roll
(Madonna:) I want somebody to speed it up for me Then take it down slow There's enough room for both
(Justin:) Well, I can handle that You just gotta show me where it's at Are you ready to go (Are you ready to go)
(Madonna & Justin:) If you want it You already got it If you thought it It better be what you want If you feel it It must be real just Say the word and imma give you what you want
(Madonna & Justin:) Time is waiting We only got 4 minutes to save the world No hesitating Grab a boy Grab a girl Time is waiting We only got 4 minutes to save the world No hesitating We only got 4 minutes, 4 minutes
(Madonna & Justin:) Keep it up, keep it up, don't be a pri, hey Madonna, uh You gotta get in line, hop Tick tock tick tock tick tock That's right, keep it up, keep it up, don't be a pri, hey Madonna, uh You gotta get in line, hop Tick tock tick tock tick tock
(Madonna:) Sometimes I think what I need is a you intervention, yeah
(Justin:) And you know I can tell that you like it And that it's good, by the way that you move, ooh, hey hey
(Madonna:) The road to hell is paved with good intentions, yeah
(Justin:) But if I die tonight At least I can say I did what I wanted to do Tell me, how bout you?

Don't mean to poop on your thread here, but I heard that Madonna/Justin song a couple of times and I've got to say it's an all time low for her. What a piece of crap.
Oh, and this isn't a swipe at your music tastes Mat, if anything you listen to a ton of good shit. But saying this song is great is really no different than the blind Michael Jackson fans who thought Invincible was sensational.

It isn't absolutely horrible... but it's surely not great. I haven't attested that it was great, have I? My amazing statement had to do with my having been able to hear it quite early.
As a matter of fact, I was thinking to myself while listening to it in the car that it doesn't hold a candle to "Hung Up," which I could not stop listening to. I hope the album is better than the single.
I look forward to the remixes with the hope that they're better than the song itself.

No it's not horrible just not as amazing as other Madonna first releases from new albums like Papa Dont Preach from True Blue or Like A Prayer from same-named album, Erotica from album of the same name, Secret from Bedtime Stories, American Life (which is still to me a great album) and Hung Up from Confessions.
The heavy beat is not appealing to me.

Well actually "Live To Tell" was the first single released from "True Blue."

Rented today Mr. Madonna's: Only Guy Ritchie film I've seen is that awful, horrendous "Swept Away."

I hope the album is better than the single. I look forward to the remixes with the hope that they're better than the song itself. I rescind this statement. The single is still not as good of an opener as Hung Up (but I do have more European tastes when it comes to dance and pop anyway), but it is a great single. It accomplishes two things. 1. Madonna is working with mainstream producers, which she typically doesn't do (at least not since Babyface some 14 years ago). It is a change in tone for her. 2. It appeals to the American audience, which is a plus for an artist like Madonna, who takes risks, but ultimately wants to stay on top. I'm enjoying the shift for this record more than I thought I would. Miles Away sounds like it will be gorgeous from the clips I've heard, and the other songs should be quite good. I like Pharrell, especially his work in N.E.R.D. I have been a Timbaland fan since the early Missy/Timba/Aaliyah days. And Justin Timberlake is the only former boy bander worth remembering. He, like Madonna, has vision. So do Timbaland and Pharrell. Good fit, really. And yes, the video was as amazing as I thought it would be.
