In a way, I'm glad I'm not going. It's just so expensive, and I've seen her twice.
$350? Pat has some good seats. I would have never paid that. I love me some Madonna, but she's not worth a month's rent.

This will be the 2nd and probably last time I see Madonna live in concert. So the $350 was a big gigantic present to myself. I'm sure the concert will be worth every cent. Janet Jackson is going on tour and if she comes to San Antonio or Houston I'll go see her as well. Not $350.00 tickets though!
Last concert I saw was Neil Diamond a few years ago in San Antonio. Had some fair seats. Best concert I went to was Cher's Believe concert in San Antonio. I had floor, row 10 center aisle. Excellent seats! I believe those ran about $200.00 per ticket. Then there was the front row at Billy Idol's concert at Stubbs here in Austin. That was cool, got to shake his hand.

For the seat I got thats cheap Phil. I could easily sell that ticket on ebay or somewhere for a grand come October. I had the option to get up to four tickets. Could have made a nice return on ebay with them. Decided that wasn't a fanlike thing to do and I hate scalpers and didn't want to descend to their level of filth.

Are those the most expensive seats ? HÉ! What you pay for a ticket is entirely up to you ... Tickets for the 2 shows Madonna will do in Montréal sold out in less than 20 minutes ...

When it's all said and done, Eldest Son's high school graduation bash will have cost us twice that amount of money ...
But the pictures of him in a tuxedo complete with the hi-hat, gloves and cane will be worth a thousand laughs for years to come ... ;D ;D

No. The most expensive seats for Houston are VIP seats that went for $575.00 each. I looked at ebay and for the Montreal concert the current bid for floor seats (not nearly as good as mine) are selling for $800.00 each!

Yea - have a blast Pat.
But I would be offended by any "artist" charging prices like that. I would not go just because of that, even if I had it to spare. Excess like that is what has spoiled alot of the entertainment industry. Greed, pure and simple.

Heres a link to watch Madonna's newest video "Give It To Me." I don't think Madonna has made a quality video since "Love Profusion." What happened to classic Madonna videos? The ones she's putting out the last couple albums have mainly blown. perezhilton.com/2008-05-31-new-madonna-4

I have been noticing that the quality of videos in general is ratrher woeful - its hard to find a good one these days...
Most either glorify the artist by having backup dancers in scantily clad outfits, or have said artist wearing gold chains or leaning on a Cadillac Escalade or something, to show how fuckin' cool and rich they are...
It's all gotten pretty damn boring. The odd video out there tells a story and is worthwhile, but the music video itself is way past its heyday...

It's quite funny because Dwaz and I were just discussing music videos last night via IM. She said something similar. The death of the music video kind of sucks.
Although, I did state to her that I found a couple of new ones recently by bands I've been going on about. The Kills - Last Day of Magic (love the song, and the video is so my style) Jusice - Stress (amazing music video to compliment one of their best songs from Cross)
And Madonna hasn't made a truly amazing music video in the traditional Madonna style since Hollywood. Some of the videos from Confessions were fun to watch, but there was nothing thought provoking about them. Luckily, she has been touring a lot lately, and those visuals are always fantastic.

Seems Madge has been avoiding too much camera time since "the lift".
But I am just jealous, what do I know?
