I dig the mind too. It's just that, in the sack, great brains can only take you so far. I dunno...the dumb ones tend to just lie there and giggle like they're being tickled, while the brainy ones are much more imaginitive and creative... And the smart ones know how to fake it, so I don't get my feelings hurt. Can't believe I just said that. j/k of course.Haha, classic, JAC *strikeout mine, of course*

This is what they found in Europe, believed to be 30,000 years old and are thought to be near-human. But not Modern Human.

Thorn, indeed we were made in God and the Elohim's image. Elohim, being the Angels. Yes. WHich is one reason I suspect we may have been created by the simple method of gene -splicing. i.e, we may be merely clones of the "gods" ( carbon copies). (The "gods" in this case being just as fleshly and mortal as ourselves). There's your "ham sandwich", shin

Our beliefs dovetail more than we might think. And I happen to believe that is the case with everyone. ALL of our beliefs dovetail more than we realize. . . we merely have different perspectives on the same thing.

Thorn, indeed we were made in God and the Elohim's image. Elohim, being the Angels. Whoa, Nelly...this ain't the place for it but I just gotta stand up and say I can't hang with that at all. Elohim is a name for God, where do you get that Elohim is the angels? And where do you get the idea that we are created in "the angels image" as well as God's? I KNOW you've read the descriptions of angels in the Prophets...there's no way anyone could confuse them with humans. Yes, I know that "Elohim" is plural. I take that as a Trinitarian proof. Responding on another board would probably be best and most appreciated by the 89% of posters here who have no interest in it, so tell me where you'll post it or just PM me.

I once ate dog meat in a remote African village...
Don't ask me how it tasted like it was covered in a TASTY peanut sauce !!
I also ate grilled snake meat there... No apple sauce unfortunately !!
One of my friend used to BBQ reindeer's filet mignons for his Xmas party supper...
He always put a cherry tomato on top and called it "Rudolph's Meat !!
OH ! And we ate Wild Boar T-bones last night ... Nothing to write home about since it was grain-feed !

Jac where do you want me to post it? I don't see a problem with posting it here while we are discussing "origins". Elohim is used both in the plural and in the singular if I am not mistaken. Why would it be so hard to believe that the Angels looked like their creator, if the Bible states let us make man in "our" image. Wouldn't it make sense that Angels would be created in God's image too? I know you feel the Elohim is only a name for God. But thats ok, you don't have to agree with me. And even if you do consider it to be the trinity, would it not be possible it could have two meanings? Or how about 3 meanings....God, The Trinity, and The Angels...which is a trinity in itself. Genesis 1.26 reads: And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness : and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Phil they rarely find much more than a jaw bone, especially really old fossils. Sometimes they find various pieces scattered around, or maybe skull fragments, and sometimes a skull. Lucy's Jaw was found and the rest of her found really scattered. Her knee bone was actually found a few layers below in the strata, a full YEAR later.
