So if all the frustrated liberal Americans either moved or contempleted moving to Canada when Bush was re-elected, where do liberal Canadians go to get away from these fucking freaks we have in office now?

Hang tight, man. Give it another - oh, 10 or 11 months - and we should have our chance to get rid of 'em.

My new employer is actually a federal crown corp that's Quebec based, and paying for employee French lessons is a big priority, so you may see the Dog in the Belle Province before my career is over.

Brian Mulroney getting an environmental award as the "Greenest PM in Canadian History"... So I bet you’re going "who knew", right? Caught a bit of Elizabeth May being interviewed by Don Newman on this yesterday, though, and she was very, very complimentary to him on this part of his record. If you didn’t know better you’d almost think that the idea was to light a fire under Stephen Harper’s arse. www.corporateknights.ca/EarthDayInfo.pdf

True colours, etc. etc. Hard to believe they'd be this crude about it, actually. tinyurl.com/qzxe2Holy hell... fucking freaks is right. I'm actually dealing (or TRYING to deal, perhaps more accurate) with the feds on a joint initiative we started back with the old government. Trying to get information out of them is like pulling fucking teeth. For TWO MONTHS we've been trying to get a hold of the communications person in an unnamed minister's office - even with my own minister's right-hand man calling, there's been radio silence. Talk about frustrating. And my counterpart in the bureaucracy seems fairly fed up as well... said the red tape has at least tripled as far as getting anything approved (EVERYTHING has to go to the PM's office.) Ridiculous.

Tunes, still hard to believe that they’re actually trying to run things that way – everything through the PMO. There’s no way that they’re going to be able to keep it up. Everything will indeed grind to a halt. --- Very sad to hear about our four guys in Afghanistan yesterday. How many more of these are we going to see?
