In the restaurant industry around here, the code name for black people is "Canadians." So you tend to have waiters saying stuff like, "Goddamn Canadians stiffed me again."
At Chili's, I worked with this annoying racist blonde who went off on a tangent with one of our black managers, Reggie, about the Canadians at her table and how they were getting on her nerves and she refused to serve them. Reggie had no idea what "Canadian" meant, so he's all, "What are you talking about? Why won't you serve Canadians? Just because they're Canadian, there's something wrong with them? What the hell is wrong with you?"
Soon as she walked away, I'm all, "So Reggie, you do know that "Canadian" is code for "black", right?"
Oh, he was pissed, and fired her ass as soon as she walked back into the kitchen.
Dunno why, but that story somehow fit in this topic. Maybe because that bitch was retarded.

Well, if she's not on these boards, the odds are pretty good.

I have some Canadian cousins. I would, though. After all, I am Canadian.

Yeah, you're in like that. Guy like me calls somebody a "Canuck", he gets his ass kicked.

While you guys are spending so much time pouting about a board being deleted, and lamenting about the so-called heavy handed moderating I'm guilty of, take a look around here at everything that has not been deleted, or responded to at all. We go six months or more without anything being deleted or truly moderated at all, and yet you freak out as if things are being run by Stalin. Some perspective would do you good.

Yeah, perspective, good call.
The board you deleted was focused on saying nice things about each other.
It's nice that you don't delete other things, I guess, but if you are going to delete things, it should be for some reason other than the fact that you don't like the person who started the board, or don't like the people posting on it.
There was nothing objectionable on that board up to the point that I last saw it before it was deleted. If something objectionable was posted afterwards, please explain (and I would imagine it must have been pretty offensive to warrant deleting the entire thread rather than just the offending posts).
Your reasoning makes no sense at all. If I go 10 years without punching someone in the face for no reason, and then one day I do, should I tell them to stop whining because of all that time I spent not punching them in the face? No, I think they have a valid complaint, no matter how rare that punch to the face is.
I can't speak for anyone else, but until I hear a reasonable explanation for why you deleted that board, then I can't help but assume the worst.
Just because you usually don't delete things that don't need to be deleted doesn't mean its okay to do it every once in a while. If anything on that board violated any rules, then please explain.

I have not deleted any board or post because I didn't like the person who started the board, or the people who were posting on the board. So we're good. The reasons the board were deleted have pretty much already been summed up. The "Oh watch out, Chrisfan will delete it" crap had started before anything was ever deleted. There is no basis for it -- again, perspective.
