#4 maaybe is from Joni Mitchell, that sour-looking chain-smoking angelic-voiced chanteuse...tho I don't know of her doing one with a rocking-out lead guitarist(other than maybe Jaco....a bassist who played like a lead instrument)....so why is she watching the guy jam?
#10 is (ahem)Skeleton Key's wonderful 'Fantastic Spikes Through A Ballon' album, which I found in a used store in Lithuania(while remembering Rocky's recommendation of them)....and interestingly a demo/promo copy which has a cover omitting the 'Spikes' in front of that sausage-y looking 'balloon...

No. 4 is Loose Fur. Didn't realize it hadn't been picked off when I dropped by last time.

Aerosmith--"Eat the Rich"
I'm new to this board - but isn't this actually "Livin' on the edge"?, Rocky?

Reaching way back there, dolly, eh? But yeah, you're right. My boo boo.
I knew rocdoc would come through on Skeleton Key. Just one more left on the list, right?

Yeah soz. I love a good game and I just found the board - hope you don't think I was being pedantic. Anyway, as a result I've had "Livin' on the edge stuck in my head all day now. Grrrr I actually tried to come up with another 10 album covers to guess at Rocky, but it's difficult when most of them are emblazoned with the artist/album title in big brash letters.

Might as well just let you all know that the one that wasn't named yet was Guided by Voices' The Pipe Dreams of Instant Prince Whippet.
Thanks for playing.

#6 was actually thrown in there in a bit of frustration at being unable to think of some more albums without the info on the front. If you actually know that one, PunkChick, then I want to marry you IMMEDIATELY. But come on, at least cheat and look up the Dave Navarro album title.

I edited my last post to show the Dave Navarro title.

That's my girl.
As for #6... Hell, I could be wrong, you might know that one (although I wouldn't blame you for being discouraged by my proposal).
As a hint (and I know it's hard to really see anyone's face on that album cover, but...) the guy crouched in the lower right of that album cover is now the front man in a much more famous band.

Yeah, Rocky's doing a great job thinking of album covers for these contests... here's just a few more that come to mind: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6) 7) 8) Yes, I realize that two album covers in this list look very very similar, but they're not the same.
