All right here's a different sort of challenge, might as well post it here. Last night in a state of total drunkenness for some reason we started trying to think of the longest band names we possibly could. It turned into a contest where each of us scribbled down as many band names we could think of which consisted of at least four words, not counting "the". I totally lost, incidentally. How many can you guys think of??
Cheers, M

1. Voice Transmissions With The Deceased 2. I Drowned In A Stream Of Mourn 3. Silent Stream Of Godless Energy 4. Teeth Of Lions Rule The Divine 5. Ungl 'Unl 'Rrlh 'Chchch
Most of these are Doom/Goth/Darkwave type bands.
"Ungl 'Unl 'Rrlh 'Chchch" is the only one I whose music I actually possess in my collection. It is Lovecraftian darkwave.

Not a band name but surely one of the longest proper names of any artist in the rock world:
Brian Peter George St. John le Baptiste de la Salle Eno.

Pardon my jump in........... but I suppose this could go under Trivia
MELBOURNE, Australia -- A downtown road in this southern city has been renamed ACDC Lane in honour of the Australian band, AC/DC, who sang the rock anthem Highway to Hell. "I say this is a lane to heaven. "Let us rock," said the city's Lord Mayor John So as he erected the sign yesterday to cheers.

Oy more trivia/news……….
LONDON -- Singer Marc Almond, whose 1980s band Soft Cell scored a huge hit with its version of Tainted Love, was hospitalized Monday after suffering severe head injuries in a road crash, police said.
Almond, 48, was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle when it collided with a car in central London on Sunday afternoon, a spokesman for the City of London Police said.
He was thrown from the bike and suffered severe head injuries, the spokesman said, adding that his condition remained critical Monday morning. It was unclear if he had been wearing a helmet.
The singer was in a stable condition at the Royal London Hospital in the east of the capital, the hospital's governing body said in a statement Monday.
The motorcycle's driver, who has not been identified, was also seriously injured in the accident, police said.

I was gonna try to think of a new game to jumpstart this board, but I couldn't think of one, so its back to an old favorite. Identify the songs that these lyrics came from:
1) "I dreamed about killing you again last night and it felt alright to me" 2) "Finding what you're looking for can end up being such a bore" 3) "The bugger in the short sleeves fucked my wife" 4) "I throw away my past mistakes and contemplate my future" 5) "I cannot stop the thought of running in the dark" 6) "We rejoice because the hurting is so painless" 7) "For the last stop, baby, is a violent crash" 8) "A down payment on another one at Salem's Lot" 9) "All the money you made will never buy back your soul" 10) "It was better before, before they voted for what's-his-name"
