Although Imus's comment was stupid and offensive (add it to the list), allow me to be the first to endorse him in suing the living shit out of CBS.
(Especially when it's part of his contract to make stupid and offensive comments!)

Yeah, if you hire a guy to be controversial, you can't really complain when he generates controversy.
CBS should have stuck with Imus in a "we don't agree with what he said, but we'll defend to the death his right to say it" free speach high ground response. They could've spun this such that the people slamming Imus seemed overly sensitive and totalitarian.
But they didn't. So they'll deserve the big breach of contract award that Imus will almost certainly get now.
