This board should still exist. It would be awesome if jllm, riley, mary, hetz, shane, scottsy etc and everyone else came back and talked about cool stuff again.

Downloaded an APC bootleg the other day. I listened to it on Saturday night and it was so good. I'm gonna wear out this band if i don't stop it already

My daughter has taken a liking to APC, and has now borrowed all my TooL CDs. She's already managed to lose Undertow somewhere in her room.

That's awesome Howe. About your daughter's interest, not her losing the CD of course.

It's good to see the spreading of good music to younger siblings Howe... yet, of course, this incurs the risk of them stuffing up your CDs and / or losing them... spreading the word can be such risky business!
I really should get Lateralus out again for another spin soon. I have a real urge to listen to "The Patient" and a few other tracks, aside from the fact that the Patient is one of my all time favourite songs, I just want to immerse myself in that album all over again... some bloody great music on that there disc.

Yeah they're not bad. I think eventually they'll hit their stride and start putting the effort in.

Too true, Scotts and Riley. I am VERY pleased with her recent change of taste. 13 years old, and she actually WANTED to go to a recent Dream Theater concert with her Dad. This just a few months after I had to endure Mest and Fall Out Boy with her.
Of course, we had to miss the recent APC concert in the Detroit area, due to my work schedule.
