Normally, I'd not pass up an offer like that, but alas! I've just been invited to a bar that serves $2 drinks & its not even 3pm. I'd be rude to not go.

yeah, anal sex or cheap drinks...I'm pretty sure I'm making the right decision.
haha. You like anal.
I'm going to the bar with only $14 in my wallet. But I'll be going home absolutely plastered. Life is great.

Its Tool songs that describe yourself, apparently. Uh...no.

Its not?
I thought that was the idea, from Thorn's post #224. The rules have changed, then?

Its not? I thought that was the idea, from Thorn's post #224. The rules have changed, then? You may be right...I got in on it a little late...I was sure it was Best Song from Each Individual Album in Order... If that's the case then strike out my list...I really don't know that ANY Tool song is descriptive of me.

You probably wouldn't want to have too many TOOL songs to be descriptive of you.

I just listed the best from each album. Have I not been paying enough attention? The only Tool song that describes me is hooker with a penis. I work for the man. I'm the man as well. With cufflinks on.

Ha! That's pretty funny.
I dunno, if I thought about it long and hard I might be able to think of one that describes me, but yeah, Rocky, I actually have no problems whatsoever with not relating to them lyrically.
I guess I should give 10,000 Days another try...I ditched it after only two spins...and I've kinda been in the mood for some Tool anyways...

I tried. There are a couple of good tracks. It just didn't sucker-punch the way Aenima did. Or even Lateralus. I think it tried too hard to be Lateralus, and that's the problem. It just seems so empty.

Actually "empty" is an ideal description, and I agree 100%. It's like you wait and wait for something exciting to break out, but alas, it never does. I thought the token gesture to the pothead Tool fans ("The Pot", I think it was, and pardon the pun) was kinda cheesy. I seriously doubt Tool needs to pander to those particular fans anymore...surely all weed-tokin' Tool fans are firmly entrenched in the Appreciation Society and need no further encouragement..
