Okay here's what I'm thinking. In point form.
-> We're overdue for awards and probably some sort of satirical rendering of the results. No question.
-> If we do it, given the less frequent influx of newbies and increased sense of familiarity within our crew, the categories should be completely positively focused. No "worst" anything unless it's endearing to the point where there's no way the winner could be upset or offended (eg. no "worst poster")
-> have enough categories where we're likely to allow for some quality posters to get some recognition for their contribution, where they might otherwise get lost in the masses because they're not as loud and obnoxious as some of us.
-> I'm happy and even psyched to run with the award show part once tabulations are completed since it's been a while since I flexed on my creative self depreciating self. I am however absolutely onside with sharing that duty with other willing creative community members if they're interested, or standing aside if someone wants to run with that part.
- I can compile some of the category suggestions offered so far, add some more, and set a date/time for final offerings before we get the ball rolling.
Anything else we need to consider? Thoughts, opposing views, and sexual favours relative to this post are acceptable and encouraged.

Uhm, don't have any sexual favours to offer, but your guidlines seem perfectly acceptable.

Categories to be agreed upon and finalized by end of Friday (May 12/06). Voting to start thereafter.
