Switchfoot, really? I can see WHY, but I'm extremely neutral about that particular band myself. I had three of their CDs (the first 3, never got Beautiful Letdown) and I liked a few songs amongst the lot. But I donated them all along with about 50 other Christian pop/rock CDs to the youth group at my church. Not that I wasn't fond of all the stuff I donated, but I wasn't listening to those particular titles anymore and thought the youth would find more value in them. I remember you mentioning something about them years ago at RS, and my sister was hugely into them at the time as well. So, for that reason alone I've always thought of you whenever she mentions them.

Haha, I love how I've gotten myself associated so much with the Zombies, even though they probably barely crack my top 30 or so, if that. They're totally underrated though.

It's amazing how one or two memorable posts sticking up for a band will get you tagged with 'em for life. Right Rocky? Actually, when I hear the Zombies, I think of both you and of (I think it was) Mary saying "I love how much Rocky loves the Zombies." So two of you guys get called to mind every time "She's Not There" comes on the oldies station.

Well, now everytime I hear the Boss I'm reminded of Mr. Holzman. Oh, and anytime I listen to the Doors I can't help but to think of 'ol Ken, and knowing how it would be torture for him to listen...Man, I'd love to sit back play all of my Doors Cds while hanging out w/ Ken...It would be priceless to see his reactions....Bow and I could tie Ken up in a chair and put the Doors on an endless loop.

That last sentence is banned by the Geneva convention, as well as all the laws of God and man. I hate the fuckin' Doors. Like The Dude with the Eagles, only more so and for better reasons.

Bowiglou:
1. Bowie. 2. Iggy. 3. Lou. (What, you were expecting that he'd remind me of ABBA or Frank Zappa?) 4. The Jam. 5. The gawdamn Doors (thank god I don't hear 'em very often).

Speaking of Phil ...
1. ABBA (sorry buddy, but Dancing Queen comes on and you immediately come to mind). 2. Frank Zappa. 3. Funky Miles Davis ... pretty much all jazz-rock fusion. 4. Anything in French. 5. Frank Zappa (he reminds me so much of Phil that I had to list him twice)

Any band which rocks in a most awesome manner reminds me of myself.
Morrissey makes me think of Jllm & Clubber/Pissin are almost honorary members of Alice in Chains.
And the bleeding obvious:
ThoRn - KoRn.

Rit = the goddam VU, Bob Dylan.
