Yeah that's her, Dolly. She was one of my favourite posters back in the day, I was sad to see her go.
At one time she also worked in the mall that was about a 10-second drive from my apartment, so she's one of my two Castaways real-life meet-ups.

Hello, i'm checking in. I don't really know what the best drop in board is, but this one seems like a good place to drop in.
I'm still working with handicapped people. I've been seeing a really great girl for a while now and will be moving to Halifax with her in the summer. I may attend Massage Therapy school but am not quite positive yet. I'm thinking of going part time to the school and working if i can afford to.
This new girlfriend is great she really smart and the most genuinely good hearted person i've ever met. She is finishing up a Masters in Education in Counselling and is going back to her job teaching art in Halifax come September. She also has degrees in Interenational development with an undergrad in Spanish and Masters in Fine Arts Education, something like that. She an ecological feminist and likes AC/DC too. She is really fun to be with and we talk about everything and have an honest relationship.
I'm still taking my yoga a few times a week and am really happy though stressed out about my move. I'm taking good care and hoping everyone else is doing the same. I feel like i've grown a lot since I first started with this community 7 or so years ago. I hope your all well. Let me know what's happening.

SHANE! Great to see you 'round. Moving to Halifax? Don't they have a dog problem up there?  I was just thinking about you the other day ... listening to Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, and a bunch o' misc. fifties rockers. How are you and your animals, bike, car?
I'd appreciate it if you sent me some of the Buddhist stuff you were interested in, thereis one group up here in Nova Scotia called Shambhala but I don't necessarily think it's for me. Is Theravadian (spelling?) more based on historical buddha and practical meditations etc... I don't really believe in enlightenment as some mystical experience or any thing that could be interpreted as having meaning when in reality it's just a silly paradox. Im more interested in practicing right seeing and learning skills to help attain peace of mind and focus.

Wow, it's good to see some of these folks again! I guess a few must have gotten the email. Looks like many more did not (or it's in a spam folder - mine went to my hotmail junk folder. KayJay hasn't gotten one at all. I think gmail has some real problems. I've been getting legitimate mail for people with my surname in my gmail box and can't seem to stop it.)
