Doc, and I do not speak for shin only for me, if you can find an instance where I have attacked you before you included me in some inane rant or taken a pot shot at me...any ole instance in, say, the last the year where I have attacked you first I will delete my account here.

To whatever extent this is true (and I would argue that it's easier to google search for a name of a poster that will result in these boards than the off chance that someone says to themselves "gosh I miss the ol' boys, wonder if Wikipedia mentions them at all"), the fact still remains that it doesn't belong on the Wiki page of the magazine. Even at the height of RS.com's powers, at the most 200 people were involved on a regular basis, all told. MAYBE 400, if I'm being generous. It's simply a vanity entry that doesn't match the strict standards the Wiki mods have, so any minute that Strat's entry exists is a minute more than can be reasonably expected.

There are websites such as slashdot.org, 4chan.org, etc. with a vast message board community with far reaching implications on the web at large that deserve to be included in Wikipedia. On the other hand, here we are, these two little islands that interact in our silly little "wars", and one of us goes out and makes mention of that fact, and we have to huff and puff about it.

Yeah, it's a cute, innovative project to engage in, and like I said before, I tried to do a version of it myself. I got REAL mad when the Wiki mods deleted it, and you know what? I thought about it and realized it was foolish of me to expect anything less. We could all use a minute or two of putting things in perspective. To be angry at all at a Sedakan (who is not me) for "vandalism" is a blessing, as it shouldn't be there to edit at all.
