I dunno, I would think that is when my mind is most active really. Straight afterwards is another story. I sleep quite easily.

Well, here's some news for ya!
*starts lawnmower...*
Melissa received her NOA1 (notification that the USCIS has received our application for my visa to live in America) the other day... so they have our papers and are starting to process them!!! This is indeed a VERY good thing and our journey is starting! REALLY, REALLY hoping for a fast speedy application process so I can be on my way soon... I miss my girl and our kiddies!!!

Beautiful! Now have you got any idea when those papers might be processed then? Like is there a set time that they have to process your application?
I can't believe that in one week my sister will be staying at my place!

They say it takes 80 - 110 for this particular stage of the application... so basically that is the processing time for the USCIS to process the paperwork and have it sent out to the American Embassy in Australia I think... then they give you an interview date and you have to prepare other papers, have a medical examination, police check, etc before you have your interview... if they are happy after the interview you get your visa virtually on the same day, and you can GO!
Which is exactly what I will be doing as soon as I am able to... I doubt I'll be hanging around too long once I have that little visa paper in my hands! :-)

You must be VERY excited to be seeing your sister by now Maarts! My little sis has come down from Coober Pedy this week... looking VERY pregnant indeed! Great to see her though!

Yeah I'm very happy to see her! Gave me a wonderful excuse to take some time off and have some R&R. My sis needed some downtime too as she really could use a breather after all the stuff that came down on her. Funny innit- when we were kids we's bash each others' skulls in, now we realise how good we are together.
And hope you have some fun with your sister there too...hope she doesn't deliver until she's safely back in Coober Pedy again...unless she wants to have the kid 'above ground'.....

She will probably come back down to Adelaide around the baby's due date though... all things going to plan of course! Ya never know the little tike might just beat her to the punch....lolololol

Been a while since we all met here, methinks... the old lounge has remained empty, perhaps it's time to take the dust covers off and sit back down??!! :-)
