They don't regulate cars nearly as extensively as they should here... there are so many shit boxes driving about, particularly in the area I live in.... this suburb's full of bombs!
That being said the Police are defecting more and more lately.... and so they damn well should!
I tell ya its scary the numbers of death traps running around here!

According to CNN the highest new user group for prescription anti depressants is children under 5.
Are we becoming a continent of idiots or just letting to many idiots have babies?
What the F*ck can you be depressed about under 5? Your visa bill ….(sarcasm 100% intended)

rockkid I hear ya - - - man is that sickeningly pathetic or what. . . . . . . . . . . . Makes me wish, in one way, that the govt had total & complete control over @least 1 aspect of our lives: That before every citizen reaches puberty, they are given an injection which renders them fucking sterile. THEN -- in order to have children at all -- they must enroll in a schooling program for Proper Parenting and be required to graduate at a certain required level and then be issued a fucking license to be able to spawn. THEN and only then do they receive the proper anti-dote serum that will negate the sterility effects introduced earlier in life, and are released into the wild blue world to fuck as they please & raise their children PROPERLY.
For those who might take "offense" to this suggestion: Notice how I preceded my gripe with the words "makes me wish" -? This means I'm FUCKING VENTING mmm'k?, (this is "VENT CITY" after all), so don't react as if I've fully thought this through and believe in my heart of hearts it is a valid solution. But hearing from CNN that that *5-yr olds* are the highest demographic for anti-depressants just makes me react extremely, got it? Good. You understand me then.
We fucking require a license to operate an automobile -- granted, a 1,000 pound Death Trap of metal + glass + highly combustible explosive material -- one of the deadliest instruments taken for granted in our society -- yet we're allowed to FUCK UNCHECKED like primitive monkeys in the wild, spawning generations of children who spawn generations of children who spawn generations of their own kids -- MOST OF WHICH don't have THE FUCKING FIRST CLUE as to how to properly raise their children in a wholesome, balanced, communicative & healthy parent/child relationship .. . (?!)...and this results in such an overwhelming percentage of the Most Fucked Up Things In Our Society [COLUMBINE anyone-?![/i]] -- yet The Powers That Be just Look The Other Way wipin' the sweat beads off their piggish brows as they twiddle their thumbs while trying to act all normal and calm during their massive deposits of Income in the Bank -- not giving ONE RAT'S SHIT about the integrity or quality of the human race at all -- squandering the very essence of what it means to be happy and alive and living together on this planet -- and then turning around and secretly whispering to themselves "At least these Sheep produce plenty of Fodder for our Wars, eh Dick?"
It's enough to make me sick

Todays vent………… The myth of global warming & other scientific bullshit. For over a decade we’ve been inundated with the doom and gloom warnings reference so called global warning. Yup were going to turn into a screeching hot desert here all righty. Well here it is June 17th & last night I lost over 300.00 worth of plants…… how you might ask…… FROST !!!! Yes global warming has caused a temperature of 1 degree accompanied by heavy frost here this morning. What else I wonder is the scientific community 100% wrong about? Cant even replace ‘em as all the green houses have closed for the season. I could just puke.  |

Aw rockkid, that sucks. Especially with the price of plants and, as you said, the fact that they're hard to get now. So frustrating!
Frost, huh? Gotta love Canada. I still remember the Canada Day when we were literally wearing mittens and toques for the fireworks. Grrr!
We did some planting a couple of weeks ago - and then had tornado-strength winds earlier this week that uprooted trees all around my area. I was worried my new plants were going to be ripped right out of the ground, but we managed to get lucky on that one.

Here’s irony……. Last night they gave a huge frost warning & you got it ….. this morning none. Of course the other night there was no warning. The weather channel sucks. I’ve never seen people be so wrong so often. Glad yours survived. I bought more last night. Call me a sucker.  |

Well, I'm pretty glad that they were largely wrong yesterday cos I took the day off to take my niece and nephew(and the niece's friend) to Great America amusement park yesterday....and it was the 'chances of T-storms all day' which seemed to keep the attendance down so we could seemingly continually keep jumping on coasters to our hearts' content...holy shit we rode EVERYthing mulriple times and that's some serious riding....13 coasters at this park.
My favorite? A tossup between the sleek smooth metal Raging Bull(no less than 7 occasions of 'getting air' when the fucker drops!)and the traditionally thrilling Viper, a wood coaster closely modelled on my beloved Coney Island Cyclone which also gives possibly even MORE ocassions of 'air' than the RB does!
While 90% of the Viper's ride is WITHIN the structural timbers...it just does all these turns back into itself, goes back outside for a second and then you're careening(seriously!)back inside...a great fucking day!
!0:30AM til 9PM with breaks for a couple of shows...and an Imax show we went to was the ONLY thing which almost had me puking...ugh.

Hell doc I’d be pukeing on the rides.  No tummy at all for that stuff save for the log ride (I think the water aspect helps there). Okay not really a vent but more like I need diplomatic assistance. Seems the boss’s son wants to get into the trade & boss has it in his head that I should be his instructor. I don’t with a capital D want to do this. How to say no w/o ruffling the feathers? Somehow no is so much easier when its not the boss. |
