yeah, pics of Thorn are always great.
Jesse does kinda look like him there, it is the expression. Maybe ThoRn is a secret rock star?

I got it from Predator 2. A classic with a universal lesson: Natty Dread will hunt and kill yo ass and then do horrible things to your corpse.
Sleep tight.

Including this one? Cause that will be fantastic. You dork I have the fancy edition of Aenima, with the trippy 3D cover & I can see that contortion in movement. So nyah to you Thats an interesting idea for portraits, S. Do you have any others up anywhere?

not from that series. that is the only cheap digi shot i've ever taken, and just for kicks. i've taken all the other portraits so far with good ole' fuji superia reala film and i don't have a scanner. they're going to be incorporated into a larger installation pretty soon. i'm almost finished with it. anyway, because i don't have a scanner, so most of my serious stuff ain't on the net yet. i need to get one and build a site one of these days, but i'm not too business minded about these things. i do have a flickr site, though....and every shot that i'm not in i set up and shot.... the "beware the pink cookie" photos have been pretty fun...'specially when i get to paint faces. i did some photographing through plastic that created some fun effects, but still, all that stuff is more of a game played with film and alcohol. num num.

Yeah, please set up a site with all of your artworks. I love enjoying other people's art, because I have not one smidgen of talent in that area. I can draw stickmen, but even then their heads are all lopsided Have you ever sold any art? One of my old roomies from years ago used to paint these lovely, sorrowful portraits. They were just beautiful. She painted one of me from an old photo without me knowing & it was amazing. That painting looked far more beautiful than I ever would be in real life & it was a sad photo, she managed to get so much expression in my eyes. I made her sell it to me & then I made her start selling her art at a local market (she was too shy to do it on her own). I don't like when people don't share things.

i'm pretty shy about selling things. i hate charging people money for anything that means something to me. i've only sold a handful of things (that were not really for sale) to people who asked to BUY them and insisted on giving me money.... (the only times i don't feel weird about this exchange are when it's a museum/gallery that buy the pieces at the conclusions of various juried shows for permanent collections...then it's just cool. i can say to myself, "yay! i won something.")
i'm working up to it though. my friend brandy (http://www.brandelion.com/) is an ingenious web designer and such, so she said she'd help me with it. maybe it'll be easier to sell art to strangers. i've got to finish several projects, get them in the galleries i want with actual price tags, and then i'll start working on putting together a site.
