Alright, I'll play, but clearly I'm the only sell out on this board so bear in mind my style is all over the map, but often dress up through the week, and I am admittedly a brand name whore.
NW: Navy blue suit with subtle Glen Check stitching. Pink and white gingham patterned dress shirt with complimentary two tone blue and pink tie. Slim pointed black shoes.
I won't say I'm the only banker wearing a pink shirt and tie combination right now, but I can't imagine there are many others.

Does it make me hopelessly unfashionable that I haven't the foggiest what "Glen Check" stitching is?

Not an arsehole at all, Riley. A little girly maybe, but...

...oh, you HAD to say that now, didn't ya? Riley's been working through those 'problems' all these months with jllm... now you've set him back...a shame, really. Stiff upper lip, Riley boy!

Thanks Doc, but JLLM has moved along and our bond now remains one more closely resembling twins seperated at birth.
It just happens that one of the twins is a corporate whore, while the other just used to be.

Jesus, you have to admit that I've been surprisingly compassionate, having never pounced on you properly after that little HSBC tid bit you dropped a little while back. I still carry it around in my credibility assassination briefcase, but I'll leave it be for a while longer yet.

ekul, that picture was solid gold.. that mullet.. priceless.
Mary – Every day is a totally different day style-wise for me. Some days I’m wearing black Dickies (sorry ekul!), combat boots, Bauhaus t-shirt or something. Next day jeans, tennies, button-down shirt. My advice is to go THRIFT SHOPPING!!! Look through wild shirts and consider everything, even stuff you wouldn’t normally think about wearing. You can find so much cool stuff for cheap places like that. I’d venture to say 70% of my wardrobe is from a thrift shop, and really it’s all hopelessly vintage. 60’s shifts made out of really thick/stiff fabric... so cool. Pair one of those with black mid-calf boots and sunglasses and you look like nobody else out there.
I gotta get ready for work. Really need to start getting up earlier to get stuff DONE before my day gets consumed by my job!

Wow, I really hate the way I come off here. I shouldn't be reading previous posts while I'm stoned and paranoid. This sucks.

I know, I know, that was terribly insensitive. Riley, my dear friend, my humble apologies for trying to cover up my feelings of fashion inadequacy by poking fun at your advanced sense of style. NW: black v-neck, v-back sleeveless sweater, black capris, burgundy Mary Janes, burgundy clutch, now a Sesame Street bandaid on the cut from two days ago.

samples: You know how unwelcoming and hostile all these posters here are, judging every little thing you do, be paranoid...be paranoid!!
Bought a polyester shirt that has white, green, and yellow stripes on it, it's pretty retro. Also bought some other funky thing i can't describe.

Well, reading your previous posts when stoned is much, much more advisable than posting while stoned.... I'd rather read my sober posts stoned than wake up and reread my stoned posts while sober - total humiliation!!
(Um, not that I"m, like, regularly in that situatiion or anything...)
Random fashon observation: I'm totally excited about this new nail polish color I tried last night. I's like this deep, dark, metallic blue. I think it looks kind of David Lynch-ian, if that makes any sense, which I'm sure it doesn't.
NW: brown cotton tee-shirt, black zip-up hoodie, dark blue jeans with zipped pockets in the front and back and light brown stitching down the side, black boots with big heavy silver buckles
NP: The Rezillos - Can't Stand the Rezillos (song: It Gets Me)
Cheers, M

I love reading what people are wearing, is that weird?
Mary, I used to have a nail polish that sounded exactly like that... very cool.
(I also had a metallic green that I stopped wearing when my dear father told me it looked like my toenails were rotting off!)
I rarely if ever wear nailpolish on my fingers, mostly because I'm not nearly coordinated enough to get my right hand looking good - and I inevitably mess 'em up 10 minutes later anyway.
But I love painting my toes... my favourite is still my shiny silver nailpolish from the Body Shop that I think they've discontinued. And a shame, since it looks fantastic.

N.W. Sky-blue scrub bottoms('borrowed' in multiples from U of Illinois Hospital by my wife), white long-sleeved mock turtleneck w/Johnson & Johnson logo and 'Precise Stent' emblazoned over the left chest(courtesy of one of the vendors of life-saving equipment at U of I)...white Reebok tennis shoes with white socks.
Plain. Ordinary. Simple. Comfortable.
Being a Dr with your own office means: Scrub pants and multiple variations on t-shirts of various colors are just FINE as a 'uniform'....a sweater if it's winter. That's all.
NP Sophie B Hawkins new one, 'Wilderness'....god this sucks! I'd heard an earlier one which was pretty OK...but this...feh! Thinks she's gonna sell like Shania...gotta check to see if 'Mutt' produced this dreck...
