They definitely make you consider the unifying elements of detail from painting to painting...style is that sort of 2-dimensionality Peter Max used.
Sorta Yellow Submarine-ish people-as-blobs..

woah sisy i didn't notice when you first posted these but i just noticed now that others have commented recently, and they're beautiful!!!! honestly i saw you post some of these on flickr but i had no idea if they were your own art or someone else's - i almost thought they must be pics you took in a museum or something because they were so good!!

i think they're sort of a set... can't imagine one of the pieces without the others really.
incredible. i love the weird phagocytic element to the subjects. like squamous cells in a microscope lens or something. even if you already have a name, i am totally dubbing the collection "simple squamous".
if you live in my closet and make me art while i'm gone at work, i'll find you a shrubbery!
