shaun and i were at a movie a month or so ago, and while walking out we passed this guy who looked familiar to me... i was ready to keep walking, but he said "hey! i know you. shasta? from high school...." i could not remember his name, and i thought he was kidding...i thought it must be someone i saw around campus or something, but then he said..."yeah, it's you....you were always wearing those Weezer t-shirts." my best friend had a huge weezer symbol on the hood of her subaru, made with electrical tape. we were gung ho on that shit. another of my friends made out with one of the band members at DV8. ahh, so many memories come flooding forth when weezer is invoked... Hmmm...I picked up the shirt because I was trying to impress this girl who really liked Weezer. At least, I thought she really liked Weezer. I think she was playing the same game with another guy who actually did like Weezer. I believe that's what they call instant karma. I do like Weezer, but I don't listen to them much anymore. Either way, I'm still super awesome. And so is Rocky. That's why last night sucked balls in Rocky's absence. The greatest song ever written (about Rocky) couldn't even save it.

Sorry. Actually had to sleep some last night. I work way too friggin' early in the morning.
So when shall we all be serenaded by the Rocky song? I bet it's totally awesome.

It's Monday. Some day in May. The 21st? I don't know. But I'm still as awesome as ever!
I recorded that song Saturday, Rocky. Sadly, I had to change all of the "Rocky"s to "Jesus"s lest I be looked at funny when presenting it to my bandmate. (He has a cousin named Rocky...who, incidentally has tourettes.) He also is totally awesome. Not as awesome as our own Rocky. But awesome is awesome.
Anyway, I wrote a really catchy melody for that song, and then it got really creepy at the end because I kept repeating "Jesus makes the world go 'round." I added another vocal track where I just said, "Jesus" in time with the line but held it out for a bit. With that melody playing in the background on guitar, synth oboe, piano, bass, xylophone and pizzacato strings. That all equals totally awesome.

This actually sounds like it might be ... well, awesome. But if you said "Hay-sus" instead of "Jesus," that would be even more awesome ... or not. I'm gonna listen to those demos you sent me by this weekend, and give you some thoughts then. Anyway, I'm sure it'll be awesome ... or not.

I could sit here and tell you about the awesome thing I just did, but I think it's actually illegal.
So I didn't do anything except drink some rum. And I continued to be awesome.

Once we fixed the glitch in the cloning machine, we were able to lay down a few killer tracks. We're hoping to play Carnegie Hall this fall. And keep an ear out for our first single, "Baby Loves the Booty (This Train Done Jumped the Tracks)". Speaking of trains, if anyone wants in, Rocky and I (the I in this instance includes all 3 of the Fragtones and the Funky Fresh Five Frag Choir) have a groupie guestbook all set up. Let the rock 'n' roll promiscuity begin.

Theres an entire Frag choir? So theres 8 Frags? I don't know if I'm woman enough to handle 8 Frags PLUS Rocky.
80s hair metal groupies never had it that intense.

3 plus 5...yeah, 8.
It's a regular festival of fun backstage. Rocky's merely the cherry on top of the sexual adventure that is Rocky Von Rocksalot and the Fragtones...

Well, I'll sign up to be a groupie, but I might have to include some sort of 'three at a time' clause.
