If you're reading this, you're probably a trashed-up boozehound. I know how you feel. This is me on a good day:

I'm not drinking right now (ahem...working denies me that pleasure sadly), but this is the fine drop I was sucking down last night: Brown Brothers 2005 Moscato Won it at a fancy trivia night. One of our country's nicest labels, too.

Not the full corn-syrupped version though. Gimme the diet soda, always. AND with tonic water (diet as well...do you know how many carbs fucking Schweppes has?), Code Red mixed 50:50 is the perfect mix with vodka. The bite if the tonic evens out the pretty much overbearing sweetness of cherry Mountain Dew and givers you what I like to think is the equivalent of a 'Poor-Man's Campari'. Campari is one the best beverages on earth, but it's price here in the states, nearly always backs me down from buying it...

Drinking another right now, strawman. I'd actually never heard of it before, but last time I went to the grocery store, I thought I'd give it a try. I stick to the safe stuff at the bar, but I like to branch out and try new things when I'm drinking at home. Never had New Zealand beer before. It's pretty good, I think.
I'll see if I can find the D4 CD that a friend burned for me a while back. I've also got a Mint Chicks CD that wayved sent me. And it would compliment this beer nicely...

rocdoc - You should mix in some Sunny D with that. Code Red, Sunny D and vodka (usually used Citron, but any vodka should work)...I think we did equal parts of all three. Hell of a drink. Called it "carrot top," and it tastes like punch. Fuck-you-up punch...ahem.
But now I'm drinking iced tea. And it is good.

And at the bargain price of 4 zillion dolars a bottle. Worth every cent mind you. Yeah, hopefully we're good for that second mortgage we had to take out on the house. This is my grown up have-a-nice-relaxing-drink-listen-to-music-and-talk-about-your-day vodka. If I feel the need to get shitfaced on vodka, I'll be sticking with Absolut or Smirnoff.
