I never took the SATs. Just the ACT. I got in/through all right.
GRE sucked.

After I graduated I took a year of Human Services at a community college, it was pretty easy, and i liked some of my courses, i just didn't do the work in a couple of them, discovered RS.com spent thousands of dollars on cds, and lost my virginity to an opera singer. I have taken many courses in first aid, whimis, occupational health and safety, medication awareness (though i didn't learn anything), Feeding Sensitivity, some thing on how to lift/adjust people who can't do it for them selves in wheel chairs/day beds, Nonviolent crisis intervention, Non Aversive Behaviour Management or something like that. Anyways i guess I won't be humble for a bit and say i'm a pretty good caregiver, dealing with sick or needy kinda guy. But it's to stressful to do all the time, so hopefully i can just rock and make ends meet instead.

I would definitely check the requirements for admission because the SATs are hell. If all you need is the ACT, that's much better. Overall though I think colleges look at both your grades and your test scores. Sometimes one can really even out the other. For example, my grades were fairly good but my test scores were only all right but I still got accepted everywhere for my undergrad. And I second samples, the GRE sucks but the Subject Test is much worse. Evil standardized fucking test.

I dunno if it's too late but for what it's worth, my educational history is thusly...
Catholic High School in my local area (Cardijn College - the place sucked...)
Flinders University of South Australia - Bachelor of Arts (Majors: Sociology and History)
Flinders University of South Australia - Bachelor of Education (Primary or Elementary School Teaching: Reception level to Year 7)
If I were to do further study, which I have never ruled out, I'd love to study student counselling, due to the many troubled kids I have met in my career...

I hope you guys get into the uni of your choice! Well, I'm going to put this up here - I can't think of any place else to! Hope it doesn't stretch the board too much, but I was hoping it would be legible. It will no doubt cure your insomnia! (This may take a few tries, so please bear with me...)

haven't seen it yet due to flood warnings 'round here (the street of one of my friends got flooded so badly that no one could get into their houses) and family issues that i'm probably better off not getting into.
i wanna see it soon, though... the pictures look very nice, perhaps advanced.

looks like i have no guaranteed financial aid coming.
at this point, i don't know if i'll be taking more than 2 or 3 classes next semester. kind of a 360 from the direction i thought i was going in.
