Or which posters have you already met & how many times? I've only met one poster (my wife, of course), but I don't really count that, and not just b/c she's not posting anymore. As I'm quite shy with strangers, if I absolutely had to meet any of you schlubs I'd want to go bowling with Howie. Sure he'd blow me away but maybe I'd pick up a few pointers. And there's my Bay Area boy Clicker--if I still lived there, we could take in a Giants game. Then again, what with it being San Francisco, people might get the wrong idea!

What, that last part or my whole post? Hey, I wasn't gonna start a thread without actually contributing to it! So would you not want to meet anyone here or what?

Oh, I suppose I would enjoy meeting several folks from here. Maybe even all of 'em.

I've met Maarts and Kat on one of mine and Mellie's many trips to Sydney...
Of course I've met Mellie, the love of my life, whom I will be marrying very soon... but we met online before both coming to the former RS website together, so I don't know if that counts!

Love to meet you one day too, Phil! Since I invariably end up being tourguide for friends and family who come down to visit Oz, you'd be more than welcome to enjoy a bit of southern hospitality!
Want to go and see Porcupine Tree or Eno with Thorn, have a listen to Pluto or Toy Children with straw (can't get that stuff over here yet, hope someone might distribute those titles in Oz), rock up somewhere in Canada to meet the CanCon-nection...shit, I don't mind meeting anyone on these boards.

Jeezis, Phil mentioned practically everybody except me! Hey, no offense--I wouldn't want to meet me either.

Oh whatever! Self-deprecation can be so overrated.
I think just about everyone is worthy of meeting at least once. There are a few exceptions though.

I'd like to meet everyone here! OK, some more than others! I've often thought about how fun it would be to have a big RS poster's party somewhere - but damn, we literally do stretch around the globe! I know the Down Under crowd has had their "local" version, and others have gotten together here and there. Maybe someday...
I've gotten together with Howe three times: once in his town of Detroit, and twice here - the last time was just a couple of months ago! I met Kathman in Las Vegas a couple of years ago - that was fun, too! We went down to Tampa a couple of years ago for a festival and to see Wholi and the Wholigans - that was a blast! The next day after their gig, we met at the festival, which was Molly Hatchet, Blue Oyster Cult, and Paul Rodgers - man, that was great! I guess most of you have already heard all of these exploits, but it is fun to get together!

You know what I meant. I don't recall Charlie Manson ever posting at RS. At least, not that he's admitted to posting on RS. Didn't think I had to clarify since the name of this particular board is "Which posters would you most like to meet?"

I'd like to meet everyone here at least once...now "who would you like to hang out with" is a completely different question...

Charles Manson was one of my alter-egos at RS.com. I don't think anyone ever figured out that it was me...but then again, I doubt anyone remembers him. He wasn't a "flamer", just an old guy who said he looked like Charles Manson and who loved old school punk rock. I used a picture of the real Charles Manson for the profile. Such fun, eh?
Regardless of how despised "The Hacker" was/is, I still maintain that the profile I created for him was a work of comedic genius. I mean, how can you not laugh at the notion of a guy citing "The Greatest Story Ever Told" as one of his favourite movies but admitting that he'd never seen the ending...?
