Whether it's PEW or not, we should give him a chance. If he pisses people off, then ban him. But for now, let's see what he's got to say.

PEW was actually OK until he became a troll and a PM-harassing asshole.

I'm just suspicious of newbies who show up and don't mention how they found us. This place could sure use some new blood, but it's not exactly the case that people are likely to just stumble upon this place.
But I do agree with Ken. No need to jump the gun on anything severe. Just probably wise to be on the lookout.

I'm about 95% certain it's PEW, but I don't really care either way. Ban him, welcome him - doesn't matter to me.
I just set up an account with mixi a couple of weeks ago, which I think is Japan's largest social networking website. Not sure to what extent it's analogous with MySpace, since I'm not too familiar with the latter. It's an invitation-only place, so let me know if any of you want to see what I'm like when I rant in Japanese.
I have exactly one friend there.

Shin, I think those are two of the best posts you've made for a while! The sheer profundity! It's obviously Bozo. ...Just in case I'm wrong, "Welcome, friend!" ;-)

Adam, can I be your friend? Pretty please. We can build forts & play cowboys & stuff. Fuck yeah! You're on Myspace? Hell no. Well yeah, I actually joined ages ago b/c it was one of the few ways I could keep in contact with certain friends (as well as heaps of local bands I like to support on account of my being a groupie), but the whole thing lasted about 4 days. I can't even remember my login. I only go back to read my friends' stupid blogs, but mostly b/c they often contain anecdotes from our weekend misadventures & I like to relive my crazy party antics. Can I be your real friend? Its so much better. Real friends don't judge you by your Myspace pic. They only judge you on how many rounds you buy at the bar
