I just thought people might actually like me more if I showed some hate. And PEW seemed like an obvious target. But yeah, ban him permanently please, strat.
And kudos to your ipod for its Songs For Gentlemen bias today (hope you like those tracks). We should form a Mayumi Kojima appreciation society (we can invite luke and Drum to join as well) where we all say bad things about Mary. The forum would be open to everybody, except for her.
There's this one song on that album, "Kekkon Koushinkyoku" ("Wedding March Song") that is totally gonna be played at my wedding if that ever happens (I'm fine with the idea of marrying somebody, but I'd rather eschew having to go through a wedding, but who knows). There's a line that goes "In order to preserve the family bloodline/The gathered guests stifle their yawn" which I think would be extremely appropriate.

- I have to assume that there are members of the Sedaka Clique who don't like shin, and could give a fuck about whatever beef some of us (read, like 3 or 4 of us) might have with RocDoc. This idea that the entire Clique lives to fuck with him is a projection of his overinflated ego and nothing else. Hell, there are members of the Clique who like RocDoc. thorn admitted it right here. So that's just a silly fantasy. No offense to the Doc, but the reason why he takes so much shit is simple: He's as easy a target as can be. His opinions on pretty much everything are steadfast, and at times, according to quite a few, a bit offbase. And when you're on the polar opposite of an issue as the Doc, you can expect 3 or 4 (... or 5... or 6) distinctly elaborate paragraphs about why he's right and you're wrong. It makes for some pretty good reading. I think the culture of the "other board" often involves messing around, and as it's already been said, it's mostly a community of loose and honest (interpret that as you wish) buddies. Nothing wrong with that (except for certain situations... like insulting somebody for having trouble coping with a friend's death, or something along those lines). |
